Origin data publication statement
This site publishes plot-level data so partners and auditors can verify provenance for themselves. This page states what is published, on what basis, and what is deliberately withheld.
This document describes current practice and may be revised if the scope of consent changes. The Thai version is the operative text.
Basis for publication
Data appears on this site only once it has been approved in Hillkoff's internal system. The database enforces that condition at the access-control layer: an unapproved dataset cannot be read from the public site, whether requested through a page or by any other route.
Publishing names and plot coordinates supports traceability as required by partner conditions and applicable regulation — including requirements to identify the location of the plot of production.
Data we publish
- Farmer full name
- The name of the person responsible for the plot, as recorded in the origin registry
- Plot coordinates
- Latitude and longitude of the plot, at the precision authorised for release
- Plot size
- Approximate area, in rai and hectares
- Administrative location
- Province, district, subdistrict and village
- Collection station
- The station through which the plot's harvest enters processing
- Watershed group
- Upstream context of the plot location
- Coffee and production type
- For example arabica, and whether production is individual or group-based
Data we withhold
The following is deliberately excluded from the public site and remains in access-restricted internal systems.
- Contact details
- Telephone numbers, personal addresses and other means of contacting farmers
- Personal documents
- Identity documents, land rights papers and registration paperwork
- Individual yields
- Volume and quality figures attributable to a named farmer
- Purchase values and prices
- Purchase amounts, unit prices and per-party commercial terms
- Internal identifiers
- The farmer and plot reference keys used in the internal management system
- Operational data
- Per-event hotspot records tied to a plot, and field inspection notes
Correction and withdrawal of consent
Farmers and community representatives may request corrections to plot records, or withdraw consent to publish their name and coordinates, at any time by contacting info@hillkoff.com or calling +66 95 145 0055.
Once a withdrawal takes effect internally, that record no longer appears on the public site, because the pages read the approved dataset directly rather than holding a separate copy.
Accuracy and limitations
The figures here come from the same database used to manage risk internally, so they align with internal reporting. Spatial data nonetheless carries limitations arising from how and when it was captured. The methodology and the limitations we accept are set out in methodology and sources.
